Tatoo Removal

You know, once you have a tattoo it ain't easy to remove it. besides, there usually is not a good reason to remove your Pisces Tattoo but you never know. Once I heard a truck driver from Van Nuys who removed his zodiac sign from his arm because his second-wife to be was superstitious and said she won't marry a Virgo. Go figure!

So what are your options if one day you are forced to remove that gorgeous tattoo?

Some people use lasers and others gels and chemicals, including TCA, or Tetrachloride Acid. TCA even when administered by a doctor can have serious side effects. So you need to be careful about that.

Some people resort to surgery. Others try dermabrasion (mechanical rubbing of the skin) use at-home solutions and tattoo removers but whichever option you use remember this -- removing a tattoo usually takes a lot longer than they say it does because it takes time for all the ink to surface and peel off.

Star Tatoos Say Something About the Person

I think the star tattoos say something about the person, don't you think?

Most star tatoo fans I know are energetic, a little crazy but very sensitive and creative people.

I've got SIX different Star tattoos on my body, one each at the following locations: right biceps, left forearm, right thigh, lower back, lower-left back, and over the belly button.

Here is a funny anecdote -- when I was having my belly button tatoo inked in, the guy (a veteran on Gulf War) asked me what KIND of STAR I'd like to have? That was a design decision I never thought I'd have to make, honestly. I thought there was just one GENERIC star design and of course was I wrong! "You could getting a variation of STAR OF DAVID.

You know who was (and they're still) BIG on star tattoos? The JAPANESE! Check this awesome Japanese painting and you'll know what I'm talking about:

Have you considered drawing and designing your own STAR tattoo? Some people do exactly that. Here is a site that actually sells all kinds of tatoo designs. You might want to check it out.

Star Tattoos or Star Tatoos?

I've never been much of a grammarian to tell you the truth... that's why I still don't know whether it's spelled "tatoos" or "tatoos" or even "tattooes"!

What does it mean anyway? Too lazy to check out the Wikipedia :-) All I know is I love them star taoos. They look great on the lower back of girls. My girl friend has several.

Star Tattoos

This is Gordon from LA folks, the land of golden bodies, fantastic surf and more tattoos than you can count -- including STAR tattoos of all kinds.

I was hooked on tatooes at a rather early age and I mean I'm still not that old either. I'm 28. Which means by the time I hit 40 or 50 there probably not much real estate left on my body without a tatoo of one kind or another.

My first tatoo was straight from Normal Rockwell, an apple pie, but my mom still did not like it when she discovered it. It hurt like hell when it was needled in but I kind a liked it. I always wanted to be different. That's the way I am.

But look, enough of me. Would you like to know some of the best tattoo joints in California?
